Reminders

Vaccination reminders that arrive in time

A booster that lapses is only a problem if you find out late. Set a date on a vaccination or a vet visit and PawPass emails you before it, so the kennel’s question already has an answer.

Reminders on the records that have deadlines

Vaccinations and vet visits each carry an optional Remind me on date. Pick the date you want to hear about it, typically a couple of weeks before the booster is due so there is time to get an appointment, and PawPass sends the reminder on that day.

Email on every plan, push on paid plans

Every account gets reminders by email. Plus and Pro add a web push notification to your phone or laptop as well, once you turn notifications on in settings. Email is the floor because it works everywhere and never depends on a browser permission.

What the reminder says

The email leads with the specific thing that is due, for example "Rabies (3-year) is due for Mochi", the pet, and the date, with a button straight to the record. No digest, no marketing.

They stop when you want them to

Remove the record or delete your account and the reminder is retired with it. Reminders never outlive the thing they were about.

Common questions

Can I set more than one reminder on a vaccination?
One reminder date per record. If you want a second nudge, edit the date after the first one arrives.
Do reminders work without the app open?
Yes. They are sent from our servers on the date you chose, by email and, on paid plans, by push, whether or not you have PawPass open.
